Job Profile Assignment Types Job profile assignment types can be used to label the relationship between users and their job profiles. You can use Assignment Types in compliance reporting and when reviewing users' training progress through their learning path. For example, if a user is enrolled in courses required for a specific job profile, and they take extended leave before completing them, you can set the job profile's assignment type to Suspended. When administrators run reports, or view the Learning Path, the designation can be interpreted appropriately.Job profile assignments can be seen in the following reports:R116 - Job Profile Status Summary Report by OrganizationR116NL - Job Profile User Progress by OrganizationR117 - Job Profile Status Summary Report by Organization (Tabular)R131 - Competency Drilldown ReportTo create and manage assignment types, your role must have unrestricted access to the Job Profiles feature.Create an Assignment TypeGo to Manage Center > Talent > Competency Manager > Assignment Types.Click + Create Assignment Type.In the Code field, enter a unique code for the assignment type.In the Display Name field, enter the assignment type name.Click Save. Set the Permissions for an Assignment TypeOn the Assignment Type page, locate the appropriate assignment type. Click the action menu and select Permissions.Read-only allows the user to view the assignment type.Unrestricted additionally allows the user to update, delete and set permissions for the assignment type.Delete an Assignment TypeTo delete an assignment type, locate the appropriate assignment type.
