Many of these settings can also be accessed through the Report Manager and Reports Dashboard. For additional information, please see The Report Manager or The Report Dashboard. Scheduled ReportsThe Report Settings include an page option where you can view, edit and delete report schedules. Here, you can also run scheduled reports immediately in the browser. System administrators can view the schedules for standard and custom reports, but non-system administrators can view the schedules only for standard reports. To view and run report schedules, your user role must have at least read-only access to the Report Scheduler feature. To edit and delete report schedules, your user role must have unrestricted access to the Report Scheduler feature. Go to Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > Scheduled Reports. Click Scheduled Reports. To delete one or more scheduled reports, select their check boxes and click Delete. To view and edit report's schedule, click the report name. To update the schedule, edit the details as required and click Set Schedule to save it. Batch ReportsHere, you can view and download batch reports that are output to a file (for example, CSV or PDF) and completed scheduled reports. To view or download batch reports, your role must have at least read-only access to the Report Manager feature. Go to Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > Scheduled Reports. Click Batch Report. The Batch Report page opens. It lists batch reports in reverse order of when they were generated. Click the name of a report to either view it or download it. Report PermissionsYou can configure access permissions to standard reports to specify the users that can access them. To run reports, users must at least read-only access for the corresponding report categories features in System Roles. To configure report permissions for users, your role must have unrestricted access to the Report Manager feature. Go to Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > Scheduled Reports. Click Report Permissions. Locate and access the appropriate report. The permission selector opens in a new window. Select the users for read-only access (you do not need to specify unrestricted access). Click Save. Click Close. SFTP Locations for Scheduled ReportsWhen scheduling a report, the application will have an option to send the output via SFTP to an external location designated by the customer, such as on the customer’s server. The current OPML / Background task functionality allows for an export to be sent via SFTP in the XML/URL location (using sftp://username:password@sftp.url.endpoint format). However, this is not an option for scheduled reports, and there is no option for using SSH Key instead of usernames and passwords. When the report is run according to the schedule, PeopleFluent Learning will: Output the file to the Report Location (default to /nd/fresco/batchreports) If there is an error writing to the location, log the error in the EKP.LOG file Send the file via SFTP to the location specified. If there is an error in connection, log the error in the EKP.LOG file Send the notifications as per usual. If the selection to attach the output file is used, the attachment is the encrypted file. To set SFTP locations, your role must have unrestricted access to the SFTP Locations feature. Go to Manage Center > Reports > Report Settings > SFTP locations. Click + Create SFTP Location. In the Name field, enter a name (required). In the URL field enter the URL (required). In the Port field, enter the port number (required). In the Login/Username enter a login name (required). Select one of the following: Use Password - enter the password in the Password field and confirm it in the Confirm Password field. Use SSH Key - this requires the Load SSH Key file. Click Choose file and attach the key. Click Test Connection to test the set up. PeopleFluent Learning will attempt to connect using the credentials provided and return an error message if the connection fails. Click Save. Are you a PeopleFluent administrator?
