Here, you can change your password. You can also manage certain site preferences, such as language, time zone and more. In addition you can add/edit profile information including a profile picture, education and work history and other details.Access Your User ProfileAccess your user profile from your user menu located at the top of the screen on the right. Click on your name and select My Profile.Change Your PasswordYou need your current password in order to change it in the user profile. If you have forgotten your password, contact an administrator to have it reset. Go to your user profile and click the Change Password tab. Be sure to read the instructions for setting the new password. If it does not meet the requirements you won't be able to save it. Enter your current password in the Password field. Enter your new password in the New Password field. Enter it again in the Re-enter Password field. Click Submit. If the entered new password is too weak a message is displayed. Click the Back button to return to the Change Password tab and try a different password. Manage Your PreferencesDepending on your permissions, there are certain preferences that you can manage in your user profile, including the site layout (and other display options), primary language, time zone the screen that displays by default when you log in and more. Many of these preferences were configured when you were added as a user and, in some cases, you can update them in your profile.The steps below describe all fields that may be available in your profile. If you do not have permission to update a specific field, it may be hidden or appear without being editable. If you have questions about your permissions or need help updating a preference, please contact your administrator. Go to your user profile, which will default to the User Preferences tab. Edit the available fields as necessary. Available fields may include: Skin Selection - Determines the screen layout, background colors and other UI characteristics. Language - Determines the language for messages and labels in the UI. Time Zone - The time zone used to display dates and times for your location. First Screen - The screen that displays by default when you log in. Automatic Mail Lists - Determines if you will be automatically be added to a course's mails lists when you enroll for that course. Content Server - Specify the preferred server for your online course content. Email Forwarding - Specify another user's email address to which all emails should be forwarded. Alternative Email - Specificy an alternative email. This will copy any emails to this alternative address. Employee Enrollment Approval Messages - If you have direct reports, this will specify if you will receive emails when these reports enroll in courses. Edit preferences targets - Click the link to select catalogs and you will automatically receive news articles associated with the catalogs. Click Submit and your preferences will be updated.View and Update Your Employment ProfileYour employment profile displays a summary of your information and a view into your most recent activity. Here, you can upload a profile photo or resume, download a vCard, add and manage education and work history and more. The steps below describe all employment profile items that may be available. If you do not have permission to update a specific profile item, it may be hidden or appear without being editable. If you have questions about your permissions or need help updating a profile items, please contact your administrator.Go to your user profile, and click the My Profile tab. Update or configure the available profile items as necessary.Click a link to jump to an explanation of each section on the My Profile tab. Profile Summary Education History/Work History/Language Skills Relocation Willingness Upload Your Resumé Other Information Profile SummaryThis area displays general information like name, User ID and organization.Click the Edit button and the following options are available: Click Upload Picture to add a profile picture. Select an image from your local system. To change the picture, first select Remove picture and then upload a new one. Click the Download link in the vCard field to download. Click in the Viewing Constraints field and make a selection from the drop-down options. This determines which users can view your profile. Click the Allow others to see my recent course activity to display that information to users who can view your profile. Click Save.Education History/Work History/Language SkillsEnhance your profile by adding information about your education, professional history and any languages in which you are proficient. In the appropriate section, click the link to add an item (+Add Education History, +Add Work History, +Add Language Skills) Enter information in the fields. Fields with * are required. Click Save. Relocation WillingnessHere, you can indicate your interest in relocating. In the Relocation Interests section, click the Edit button. Select Yes or No to the question Do you have interests to relocate? If you select No you can save the answer. If you select Yes, answer the follow up questions and then click Save. Upload Your ResuméYou can include your full resumé in your profile. In the Resumé section, click the Upload button. Click Select and upload file. Select the file from your local system. The file is uploaded. To delete the resume, click the action button and select Delete.Other InformationFinally, you can include any additional information that you feel is pertinent to your employee profile. You might want to document any special skills, training or certifications achieved outside of the LMS. In the Other Information section, click the Edit button.
