Role Access Reference - Learner-Oriented Features

Learn Features

Feature	Description
Learn Menu	Provides access to the Learn menu
Current Learning Moudles	Provides access to Current Learning Modules (labeled Current Courses in the new UI)
My Enrollment Requests	Provides access to the Enrollment Requests page in the Learning Center.
Records/Transcript	Provides access to the Records/Transcipts page in the Learning Center (labeled Course History in the new UI).
Transcript History	Provides access to the Transcript History page. Setting this to No Access will also prevent the role from viewing the Progress Tracker.
External Training Records	Provides access to the External Training Records page in the Learning Center.
Activity Log	Provides access to the Activity Log.
Printer-Friendly Exam Transcripts	Provides access to the printer-friendly exam transcripts, accessed from the print option for each record on the Records/Transcripts page.
Certifications	Provides access to the Certifications page in the Learning Center. Unrestricted access enables the role to submit self-awarded certificaitons for approval.
Knowledge Center	Provides access to the Knowledge Center from the widget page.
Career Development Center	Provides access to the Summary page in the Career Center.
Competencies	Provides access to Competencies page where learners can search for an view competencies. Unrestricted access enables the role to update proficiency levels and self-award competencies.
Job Profiles	Provides access to the Job Profiles page in the Career Center where learners can view their job profiles. Unrestricted access enables the role to assign and unassign their own job profiles.
Development Goals	Provides access to the Development Goals page in the Career Center where learners can view their development goals. Unrestricted access enables the role to create, edit and delete their goals.
Performance and Organizational Goals	Provides access to the Performance Goals page in the Career Center where learners can view the organization goals.
Overall Status	Unrestricted enables the role to withdraw enrollment, mark courses complete and make status changes to their enrolled courses in the Knowledge Center (for courses where these features are enabled).
Training Plan	Provides access to the Training Plans page in the Learning Center.
Training Gap Analysis	Provides access to the Training Gap Analysis page in the Career Center.
Accounts	Provides the role access to the Accounts tab in their user profiles.
Payment History	Provides the role access to the Payment History tab in the their user profiles.
Personal Calendar	Provides access to the Personal Calendar. Unrestricted enables users to create events from the personal calendar.
Personal Notebook	Provides access to the Personal Notebook in the Knowledge Center.
Peer Comments	Provides access to view peer comments for a course in the Knowledge Center. Unrestricted enables the role to add new peer comments.
Performance Appraisal	Provides access to the Peformance Review page in the Career Center. Unrestricted allows the role to create a new review.
Learning Path	Provides access to the Learning Path in the Learning Center.
My Files	Provides access to view files uploaded to the My Files page in the Career Center. Unrestricted enables the role to upload and delete files.
AI Assistant	Provides access to the AI Assistant Recommendation page in the Learning Center (if enabled).

Explore Features

Feature	Description
Catalog Menu	Provides access to the Catalog Menu.
Course Catalogs	Provides access to Catalog Browser, Catalog Search, Course Calendar and Shopping Cart. When the new UI is enabled, Read Only and Unrestricted provide access to the Course Search, Catalog and Starting Soon panels on the Home page. No Access provides only the Your Courses panel.
Allow Session Enrollment	Enables the role to self-enroll in courses from the Course Details page or through the enrolluser API.
News Search	Provides access to news records.

Communicate Features

Feature	Description
Communicate Menu	Provides access to the Communicate menu in the Manage Center.
Forum	Provides access to the Forums and enables the role to read and post forum topics.
Mail	Provides access to the Mail Box page and enables the role to read and delete emails. Unrestricted enables the role to create, send and reply to emails. No Access prevents the role from accessing the Mail Box and from managing mail settings in their user preferences.
Message Board	Provides access to Message Boards and enables the role to read message board topics. Unrestricted enables the role to add messages.
Mass Email Sender	Provides access to the Mass Email Sender feature that allows users to send emails to multiple users.

Personalization Features

Feature	Description
Preferences Menu	Provides access to the Preferences Menu.
User Preferences	Provides the role access to the User Preferences tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to update their user preferences.
User Administration
Profile Summary	Provides the role access to view Profile Summary in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to upload a profile picture, select the viewing constraints, and manage viewing of recent course activity.
Employment Information	Provides the role access to view Employment Information in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to edit employment information.
Contact Details	Provides the role access to view Contact Details in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to edit contact details.
Resumé	Provides access to view and download the resumé in the My Profile tab. Unrestricted enables the role to upload their resumé.
Education	Provides the role access to view Education History in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to edit contact details.
Work History	Provides the role access to view Work History in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to edit work history.
Language Skills	Provides the role access to view Language Skills in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to add and delete language skills.
User Attribute Extension	Provides the role access to view the User Attribute Extension section in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to edit values of the user attribute extensions (if they have permission for the specific attribute).
Relocation Interests	Provides the role access to view Relocation Interests in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to edit the details of their relocation interests.
Password Change	Enables the role to change their password in the Change Password tab of their user profile (this tab is removed for users with No Access).
My Orgs	Provides the role access to view My Orgs in the My Profile tab in their user profiles. Unrestricted enables the role to select the organizations they are assigned to in the LMS.
Terms of Use	Enables the role to view the Terms of Use tab in the user profile to view the terms they have agreed to.
Notifications	Enables the role to manage notifications.

Other Menus

Feature	Description
News Menu	Enables the role to view the News menu.
Wiki	Enables the role to access the integrated Confluence wiki through the menu in the Knowledge Center (for courses that have a wiki configured).
