Updated as of Version 26.02. Ready to upgrade? Contact PeopleFluent Support. Manage Organization Attributes Custom organization attributes can be used to classify organizations in the LMS. They can be used to filter and search for organizations in many areas of the LMS.Create an Organization Attribute Go to Manage Center > Users > Group and Organization > Organization Attributes. Click + Create Organization Attribute. In the Attribute Code field enter a unique code. Enter the attribute name in the Name field. For multi-language systems you can enter the label key that will be used to look up the localized name in the user's preferred language. In the Type field, select the data type for the field. Free text (a single line of text up to 255 characters) Text area (multiple lines of text) Drop-down (select the value from a list). Note: You will need to save the attribute before you can add values to the drop-down list. Please see Configure the Attribute Drop-Down Values below for additional information. Numeric (In PeopleFluent Learning versions up to and including 21.04, fractional numbers less than 1 must start with a zero; for example, 0.75, not .75). Select the Sum total when printing or reporting checkbox (located below the Type field) if you want to show the sum of values. Check box Date (a calendar tool to select a date) Select the checkboxes to specify where the organization attribute will be used (user search filters, organization maintenance search filters, organization selector). Click Save. Configure the Attribute Drop-down OptionsIf you selected Drop-down in step 5 above, you can configure the options after you have saved the new attribute. On the Organization Attributes page, locate the appropriate attribute and select Edit from the action menu. In the Organization Attribute Value(s) section, click the Add New Option button. Enter a code, label key and description. Click Save. Repeat steps 1-4 to add more options. Click Save. Set the Attribute PermissionsTo set permissions around who can view, manage and edit an attribute, locate the appropriate attribute on the Organization Attributes page. Click the action menu and select Permissions. Use the permission selector, following the guidelines below: Read-only allows the user to view the attribute. Unrestricted additionally allows the user to update, delete and set permissions for the attribute. Delete an AttributeTo delete an attribute, locate the appropriate attribute on the Organization Attributes page. Click the action menu and select Delete. Are you a PeopleFluent administrator?
