Geographic regions are created in catalog configuration, then assigned to learning modules when they are set up.To manage geographic regions, your user role must have unrestricted access to the Catalog Configuration feature.Create a Geographic RegionGo to Manage Center > Learning > Catalog Configuration > Geographic Regions.Click + Create Geographic Region.Enter a value in the Code field (required). This is the code the will be assigned to the region.Enter the region name in the New Name field (optional and for reference only).Click Save. Set a Geographic Region's PermissionsTo set permissions for the geographic region, locate the appropriate item on the Geographic Regions page. Click the action menu and select Permissions. Use the permission selector, following the guidelines below:Read-only allows the user to filter the legacy UI Course Calendar by the geographic region, filter the list of sessions in the Session Administration tab and assign it to a classroom session in the Catalog Editor and Course CSV loader.Unrestricted additionally allows the user to update, delete and set permissions for the geographic region.Delete a Geographic RegionTo delete a geographic region, locate the appropriate item on the Geographic Regions page.
