Debug and Tracing Options

Enabling debug and tracing options will provide additional information in log files to help troubleshoot issues with LMS functionality. The following options are available:

  • Debugging - Debugging is typically enabled for resolving login or authentication issues (with LDAP or SSO, for example).
  • HACP Tracing - ICC-conformant courses use the HTTP/S-based AICC/CMI Protocol (HACP) to communicate with PeopleFluent Learning. You can enable HACP tracing to view HACP requests and responses on the server.
  • AutoEnroll Tracing - Enable AutoEnroll Tracing to log AutoEnroll processing.
Enabling one or more of these options may impact LMS performance.
To manage debug and tracking options, your role must have access to the system administration feature with a privilege level of 10.
  1. Go to Manage Center > System > System Support Functions > Debug and Tracing Options.
  2. Choose a status in the Current Setting field for each option as required.
  3. Click Save.
